Duke vs. Wake Forest (not out best game!)
Dad arrived on Friday, and we went to the Duke football game on Saturday. We played horribly, but fun was had by all :).
Thanksgiving 2009 in Winchester
Dan & I traveled to Winchester, VA to spend Thanksgiving Day with his family. Now that we live farther away, we see them much less. It was a great day and great food! We found out about a great sale on gliders about 9 PM on Thanksgiving evening, and drove throughout the night to Raleigh to pick it up! It was sure a long day, but well worth it all!

Nursery is in Progress!
The Nursery is getting there! We have some wall hangings, a rug, and a glider left to add, but it is definitely making progress! My Step-Dad, Larry, put the crib and dresser together before my shower this past weekend, so we were able to bring people upstairs to see it during the event. Mom also got us a matching comforter, etc. for the daybed (a.k.a. my soon-to-be bed :) in the nursery. It is so much fun to just sit in there and imagine 3 months down the road!
My First Baby Shower!!
I had the most amazing girls throw me a baby shower this past weekend! It was an incredible time, and thanks to all that were there, Baby Barnes will be necessity-free and extremely stylish :)!! My Mom flew from Minnesota, My Mother-in-Law & Jess came from Northern Virginia, and my Sister-in-Law, Robin, came from Maryland. So many people made this such a special day!

26 Weeks!
This has been a busy week for us! My company had "restructuring" and I am thankful to say that I am still employed in Raleigh. We would have found a way, but it makes the rest of the pregnancy so much easier.
She has been kickin' up a storm! She is about 1 2/3 lbs. and 14 inches long, about the size of a small pot roast (according to my very reliable online sources)!
My first baby shower is next weekend (for work and Raleigh friends), so I will absolutely post lots of pictures then! My Mom and Step-Dad are flying in for the occasion, and to put together the nursery. I am so excited for the festivities to begin!
