6 Years of Marriage!

Dan and I celebrated our 6 year Anniversary this weekend, June 26th! He flew home from Indianapolis on Friday night and stayed until late Sunday night. Luckily, my Dad had come back to help me for a few weeks and could watch Reagan. We did some things with her and a few things by ourselves, which felt so weird! We went out to eat, sat by the pool and went down the waterslide, took naps, and just spent quality time together. We tried to talk about other things than Reagan when out, but it was hard! In case you don't follow the gifts that are traditional with each year of marriage, year 6 is candy and I really think we should have this anniversary over and over again! We went to Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory and had quite a choice of sweets! We were also able to go to church today, right before she started to show signs of teething! Ahh...life is hectic but I am learning to love it, and to cherish all of these little moments. Might I always do so... Have a great week everybody!

Happy Father's Day!

Since Dan is away from his daughter this Father's Day, Reagan had the idea that we spend Saturday documenting our average weekend day. This way he can feel apart of it. Reagan went "swimming" for the first time, and sported her bikini :). We will be adding videos throughout the day! We miss you Daddy! We can't wait to see you soon! Happy Father's Day! We love you!

Happy 4 Months, Reagan! A Special Birthday Gift...

Reagan and I had some VERY special visitors this past weekend for her 4 Month Birthday! The Schaubs from Texas flew all of the way to North Carolina to see us! Ed was my Physics Instructor at Baylor University, and slowly by graduation, I grew to adore both he and Judi. They even let me stay at their house the summer after graduation when I studied for the MCAT! They have been amazing mentors to me, and I am so glad Reagan has them in her life now too! They had perfect timing - Within 24 hours of their arrival, we realized that Reagan had enough symptoms to be seen by Pediatric Express (an urgent care for kids), and discovered she had a virus! Little bumps covered her body but she still managed to roll over (from her back to her front) for the first time, and we got it on video! She has been rolling over the other way for a few weeks, but this was definitely a treat! We stayed inside the whole weekend, enjoying each other's company and catching up. They let me take naps and get work done, while they had a ball with Reagan. Thank you for coming, Ed an Judi! We love you and can't wait until our trip to see y'all next year!

Grandpa Keith Comes to the Rescue

With Dan being gone in Europe, Mama needed some assistance! Grandpa Keith came for 2 weeks while Dan was in Europe to help take care of Reagan, but more importantly, me! We tried rice cereal for the first time with Reagan, too. Dan came home this weekend to see us, and we have had a great time together, but forgot to take any pictures (that is when you know you are really enjoying yourself!). He is in Indianapolis for the summer. We will be seeing him again over the 4th of July, as Reagan and I take our first flight together. You all may want to avoid the Raleigh to Indy flights on July 2nd and 5th! :)
