Reagan's First Visit to the Dentist
Last night, we read books about teeth. We were preparing for Reagan to have her first visit to the dentist today. They call it a "Happy Visit". She rode the dental chair, and played with the dental tools. She will go in for her real visit within the next year. She got a new toothbrush and had a great experience!

Surprise!!! Family Visit from North Dakota!!
My Sister-in-Law, Brooke, and Niece, Isabel, planned on visiting me this past week. They arrived on Wednesday night. When I went out to see them in the car, I found my brother, Richard, and nephew, Hunter, too!! We had an absolute blast. Reagan was thoroughly entertained the entire time. They live in North Dakota and we rarely get to see them, and when we do, it is with the entire family. It was an excellent surprise and a great way to start my maternity leave! We went to the Indianapolis Zoo, Dave & Buster's, the Children's Museum, and the Canal downtown (with the NCAA museum). Highlights included: Isabel's rock climbing performance, getting both of our families packed into their Pilot, Hunter's crochet technique, and Reagan's constant look of excitement with her cousins' presence.

Dan's Birthday Weekend!
For Dan's birthday, Reagan planned an entire weekend of activities. On Friday night, she got a babysitter and let us go out to dinner and Improv at ComedySportz. Because it was Dan's birthday, they brought him on stage! Saturday, she took us garage sale shopping and then to South Bend for a football game, Notre Dame vs. Michigan. On Sunday, she ended the festivities in Cincinnati with a baseball game, Reds vs. Brewers. Unplanned, we also ran into Cincinnati's Oktoberfest. With only one month until the due date, we wanted to get out and see some sights while we still had the ability! We all had a great weekend celebrating Dan's birthday!

Getting Ready for Her Sister!
Reagan might not understand that she will have a sister in less than 5 weeks, but she sure is getting ready in her own way. She was insistent that we put together the double stroller AND let her ride in it. We took turns with different animals in the other seat. Also, her new favorite activity is feeding and putting her stuffed animals to sleep. I think she is definitely ready and will be a FANTASTIC big sis!
