Christmas Fun Edition 6: Christmas at the Zoo

The Indianapolis Zoo dresses up the grounds after 5 PM in December with animals, animal & Christmas lights, Holiday music, and a carousel. They even had live reindeer! Both Reagan and Evangeline loved it! Evangeline stared at all of the lights for over an hour without a peep! Reagan didn't stop singing and chatting! We have already been there twice, once with the neighbors and also just the family. We have plans with two other groups before the end of the month!

Christmas Fun Edition 5: Jingle Rails

To further Reagan's excitement about trains, we went to the Eiteljorg Museum's Jingle Rail exhibit. It had multiple trains and scenes from all over the Midwest, including Indianapolis. They add to it every year. This year's newest edition was the Lucas Oil Stadium in downtown Indy where the Super Bowl will be in 2012.

Christmas Fun Edition 4: Baking Christmas Cookies!

We had so much fun making cookies. Reagan was particularly helpful spreading out the flour on the center island and on the rolling pin. She also was a star sprinkler!

Christmas Fun Edition 3: Live Nativity

A church near our home had a live nativity with a real camel and donkey! We have a toy nativity set that Reagan has been using to learn about baby Jesus. This was the perfect capstone.

Christmas Fun Edition 2: Indians Baseball Stadium

The Rowdie Mascot for the Indianapolis Indians hosted a party for the kids with lots of activities: coloring, making reindeer food, making reindeer puppets, eating cookies, and making ornaments. Daddy got to take Reagan and Evangeline to one of his favorite places, the baseball field.

Christmas Fun Edition 1: Christmas Party!

We are blessed to have Reagan in a great daycare with amazing teachers and wonderful friends. They had a Christmas party where we all decorated sugar cookies. Reagan especially liked frosting and sprinkles!

Halloween Fun Continues

Before Halloween, Reagan helped get the seeds out of her first jack-o-lantern. She enjoyed the salty seeds too! I am quickly learning that anything messy is a blast for toddlers!
