Reagan's First Halloween

Reagan was still a little under the weather for her first Halloween, so we stayed in and waited for the trick-or-treaters. She had worn her Duke Cheerleader outfit the day before. She had a Hershey Kiss costume and a Bumble Bee outfit. She couldn't decide. Which do you like best? The Bee costume will more than likely make another appearance next year - it was a bit big.

First Ear Infection + Ibuprofen

Reagan was diagnosed with her first ear infection last week. There have definitely been some tough moments for her. However, when she was under the influence of ibuprofen, she had a good time with Mommy who stayed home from work.

A Day In The Life at Duke

Dan wanted to show off his campus to Reagan. We took her to Foster's for breakfast, then on a stroll on the Washington Duke Trail, and topped it off with a visit to the Sarah Duke Gardens. It was the day before Halloween, so Reagan dressed up like a Duke Cheerleader of course!

Pumpkin Patch!

While Dan was studying for finals, Reagan & I went to the pumpkin patch near our house with some other families. She had a blast all morning with the kids, and, later, snoozed on the hayride. Check out the message on her outfit!

Reagan's Buddies Turn 1 Year!

The last couple weekends, Reagan has had the honor of being a guest at the 1 Year Birthday Parties for Delaney Barone (a.k.a. "Laney Bug") & Parker Baras! Delaney's party theme was ladybugs and Parker's was the jungle. Reagan just can't wait until she gets to try cake for the first time. February will be here before we know it!

Skyping!

Reagan loves to skype! If you have an account, let us know and we can add you! If you don't, get one. Reagan would love to chat with you ;). Here she is chatting it up with her Uncle Andrew!

Dan's Birthday Week!

This week, Dan turned 33! Reagan woke up her Daddy by snuggling in next to him in bed. Once awake, Dan noticed that a tooth had arrived just in time for his birthday! Dan was quite busy this past week, so we waited until the weekend to celebrate. We had about 25 people from Duke over to the house to watch the Jets/Pats game, and to eat cake, ice cream, and appetizers. Reagan also arranged for the Jets to win for his birthday! Reagan had many playmates at the party. In fact, we didn't really get any pictures of the grown-ups! Happy Birthday, Dan!

RMB at OBX with GPK

Reagan went on her first trip to the Outer Banks with Grandpa Keith! We had reservations for Thursday and Friday but Hurricane Earl decided to hit Cape Hatteras (a point about 8 miles from our hotel) on Friday morning at 2 AM. We left Raleigh at 9 AM on Friday and we were in the Outer Banks by 2 PM. Many sights were closed, so we enjoyed some seafood at the Black Pelican, Jockey Ridge State Park and its sand dunes, and the enormous waves after the storm. Only residents were there because all tourists had been evacuated the day prior. On Saturday, we did a little sightseeing as things started to open: The Currituck Lighthouse in Corolla, the Currituck Sound and Wildlife Preserve, The National Wright Brothers Historical Sight, and Fishbones Seafood Restaurant. We had a great time! As we went back to Raleigh, we saw the cars, trucks, boats and campers by the dozens swarming into the island for the holiday weekend. We enjoyed having the Outer Banks to ourselves for a day. We will definitely be going back with Daddy when he isn't so busy with school!
